What happened

Consumers in the US and elsewhere report NetShort charges (including the "Netshort web" billing descriptor), often approximately $24.99 weekly or monthly, multiple $24.99 debits within hours, or recurring weekly fees of $29.99+. Consumers say the charges appeared after a promotional signup, free trial or unrelated interaction, or without having installed the app, and without clear consent to a subscription.

  • Reported unclear consent language and lack of a visible cancel option
  • Reported billing after cancellation through Apple or Google, card blocks, card changes and disputes
  • Reported refusal of refunds or cancellation confirmation, with support directing users to app stores or banks
  • Reports of 6+ charge attempts in a single day and cumulative charges exceeding $370

Possible remedies

Possible remedies, if any, depend on the facts of your situation and applicable law and may include, for example, refunds of unauthorized charges. No outcome or payment is guaranteed.
