Information about this incident and a simple way to see if you may qualify to be connected with independent attorneys.
Consumers in the US and elsewhere report recurring charges of $39.98–$49.99 (or local equivalent) after responding to Instagram ads for PDF tools or online IQ tests. Consumers say what was presented as a one-time purchase or free trial converted into a subscription without clear consent.
Complaints increased in early September 2026 (122+ for PDF Guru, with more for Testora, MyIQ and similar services). No major active litigation was reported as of the original report.
Possible remedies, if any, depend on the facts of your situation and applicable law and may include, for example, refunds of unauthorized recurring charges. No outcome or payment is guaranteed.
