What happened

Vitamix has re-announced its recall of Ascent and Venturist Series blenders and mixing bowls. According to the recall, the mixing container can separate from the blade base during operation, exposing users to rotating blades and posing a laceration hazard.

Affected models include Ascent Series (A2300, A2500, A3300, A3500) and Venturist Series (V1200)
